The following addresses the development in jobs and economic growth in the Niagara Region.  I attended the Niagara County Solutions Forum where many great leadership participated in making positive changes to our region.  Here are the results:

Top 3 Growing Jobs:

1)       Tourism - 5,000 jobs to be created

2)      Health Services – 22,000 jobs to be created

A.      Registered nurse

B.      Dental Hygenist

C.      Physicians

D.      Home health care,

E.       Etc…

3)      Manufacturing Base – 17,000 jobs to be created

A)     Skilled Trades

B)      Electrician

C)      Welder

D)     Mechanic

E)      Construction

*All of the above jobs will yield a LIVABLE wage vs minimum wage!!!  $40,000 and up!
